Recycling Dual GmbH is Germany‘s first industry-supported dual system. The start-up is a subsidiary of Smurfit Kappa Group – the largest paper manufacturer and recycler in Europe.

The company was founded in Mönchengladbach in 2019. We are a nationwide established dual system approved according to German Packaging Act (VerpackG). As an integrated system, we bundle our paper expertise and many years of experience in the recycling industry. This enables us to serve a closed loop, from production to recycling. We take responsibility for our own products and thus also for our customers.

This enables our customers to fulfill their product responsibilities in a more sustainable way and at the same time benefit from innovations from the Group’s product development. This enables us to combine the packaging license with qualified guidance on packaging optimization.
